Margaret spent most of her life as a homemaker (and part-time cake critic). She runs on strong tea, stronger opinions.

Tom used to run a far more serious blog. And he used to work in tech back when “cloud” meant weather. Now he’s semi-retired from fixing things, unless those things are iPads, routers, or emotionally unstable toasters.

We’ve got five grandkids so far and each visit is a combination of joy, noise, and minor structural damage.

This blog is for anyone who’s discovered that retirement isn’t always as quiet as promised.
